Pear and Ginger Jam

Serves: 6 x 8 oz jars
Ingredients
- 450g pears
- 450g sugar
- 55g ginger
- Juice of 2 lemons
- 285ml water
Directions
- Chop the fruit and add to the pan with the sugar, lemon juice and water.
- Boil for 20-25 mins until set point is reached and mixture is jammy.
- Mash with a potato masher while in the pan to remove big chunks.
- Ladle into jars, wipe the rims and seal.
