I never realised there were objects bigger than the sun in space. I've always assumed the sun is roughly the same size of any other star, but these pictures seem to disprove that

AKRON, Ohio – Maybe the girl scouts should adopt a pay-as-you-go policy when selling cookies. The girls scouts are pursuing 12 court claims in Akron, Ohio, for uncollected cookie money ranging from $54 to $3,500. The claims total $9,000.
The Scouts say the deadbeats, all adults, picked up cookies and signed for them. One alleged deadbeat says most of the $3,500 debt involves cookies she gave to others to sell. She agreed to pay the debt in $100 monthly installments.
The other alleged deadbeats could face judgments or have their wages seized.
I thought girl scouts were supposed to be harmless?

I got the results of the A-Levels I've been doing for the last two years today. I needed BBC to get into university, with a B in German. I got A in IT, A in German, C in DT: Resistant Materials and a D in Physics. I gave up on Physics last year, so I wasn't really expecting to pass. Hopefully I should be starting uni in the middle of September to study German and Russian.

- Ability to save files to virtual storage.
- Ability to navigate through a file browser to the files uploaded to virtual storage as well those on your local computer.

You can convert a standard MS keyboard to a Minority Report style touch pad by removing the outer case.
There are 3 plastic layers. Two, on top and bottom, have the contacts that touch each other to form a keypress. The middle one has holes where the keys were, so if you leave the keyboard flat, the contacts are a quarter of a millimeter away from each other, held there by the middle layer. However, press any spot, and the contacts touch, the equivalent of a keypress.

Computer firm IBM made technological history on 12 August 1981 with the announcement of a personal computer – the IBM 5150. Costing $1,565, the 5150 had just 16K of memory – scarcely more than a couple of modest e-mails worth. The machine had an “open architecture” which meant other firms could produce compatible machines. IBM banked on being able to charge a license for using the BIOS – the software which controls the heart of the machine.
The first 8086 processor took two engineers three weeks to design, and most modern CPUs are based on it.

I've switched hosts to DreamHost due to CircleHosting not fixing my ongoing DNS problems. Hopefully the new site should be quicker, and I now have better control of email and DNS.
